Just One Can Org -
Preventing Youth Suicide Through Connection

Committed to Creating Hope, Healing, and Human Connection
Lesley Nicole didn’t just choose this mission, she lived it. Growing up in a loving home, she still struggled silently with feeling “different.” That experience ignited her lifelong commitment to helping adults bridge the gap between love and true emotional safety for kids and teens including those navigating ADHD and other neurodiverse experiences.
Today, with over 25 years of experience as a mentor, educator, speaker, and advocate, Lesley equips parents, educators, and organizations to recognize warning signs, build trust, and create safe, judgment-free spaces for all children, especially those who process the world differently.
Through her Come to Me With Anything: Foundation Training, participants learn and master the Trusted Adult Method™, a proprietary framework for preventing youth suicide and fostering deep, trusting relationships with every child, whether neurotypical or neurodiverse. Her approach blends heartfelt storytelling, humor, and research-based strategies, empowering adults to move from fear to confidence in supporting youth mental health, communication, and connection.
Through her nonprofit, Just One Can Org, Lesley is building a movement that reminds us all: one caring adult can change everything. Her goal isn’t perfection, it’s presence. Because when we show up with compassion, patience, and consistency, especially for our ADHD families, we save lives.
Lesley has spoken for organizations like Berkshire Hathaway, PepsiCo, and Nova University, but she’s not here for the spotlight, she’s here for the stories. The hard ones. The healing ones. The ones that remind us that connection still saves lives. She’s turned down opportunities that didn’t align with her mission because for Lesley, it’s never about popularity or polish, it’s about people.
That’s why audiences trust her, invite her back, and credit her with changing the way they show up for the kids in their lives. Through her Come to Me With Anything: Foundation Training, she ensures participants leave not just inspired but equipped to support children including those with ADHD using tools rooted in empathy, structure, and science.

Lesley isn’t just an international speaker, she’s a servant. She’s spent decades walking alongside families in crisis, mentoring foster parents, training educators, and holding space for kids who felt unseen and unhear, many of whom live with ADHD or other neurodiverse traits. She’s sat in hospital rooms, classrooms, and living rooms listening, comforting, and reminding people that hope is never out of reach.
She never forgets where she came from, a child who once asked, “What is wrong with me?” and found healing through connection. That question became her calling: to make sure no chill, neurotypical or neurodiverse, ever has to ask it again.
When she’s not on stage or leading workshops, you’ll find her at home with her family, laughing at the chaos of real life, cuddling her cat, or enjoying a quiet moment of reflection with a gratitude practice before the world wakes up.
